Barker Bus has been run by the same family since 1988. We carry school groups on daily routes, corporate parties into London, clubs to fixtures, wedding guests, rail replacement passengers and touring groups across the UK and Europe.
Every vehicle is maintained on site by our own IRTEC qualified engineers, and our drivers are DBS checked. When you ring, you speak to the people who run the business.

We fix our own vehicles
The workshop and our IRTEC qualified engineers are on site at Roydon. A fault gets dealt with that day instead of queuing at a third party garage.
Accessible vehicles in the working fleet
PSVAR compliant coaches and double deckers are part of normal service, so a wheelchair user is not something the booking has to be planned around.
Double deckers, and the experience to run them
Among the first operators in the area to run deckers, with several on the fleet. One 87 seater instead of two coaches means one driver, one invoice, a lower price and fewer emissions. When other operators have decker trouble, we usually get the call.
You deal with the family
Three of us run the business, all three of us drive, and between us we hold the Transport Manager CPC, IRTEC inspection accreditation and a fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. No call centre and no regional office.
