Home to school routes
Daily term time routes run by a family business from one depot at Roydon. The same vehicles, the same drivers, and an office that knows every stop.
How the routes work
You book your place for the year, with flexible one off, termly or half termly instalments. These bespoke services are closed to the public and have been set up and planned to suit both students and their destination school.
When a place has been successful, your child is guaranteed a seat carrying them from your chosen stop to and from the school grounds.
The office takes the calls, and the people answering know the routes and the drivers. If you ring about a delay you get an answer rather than a message passed on.

Please note. Students should be at their stop five minutes before the timetabled time. Buses work to set times at each stop and are not able to wait.

If the bus is running late
Ring the office on 01279 793800. The person answering can see where the vehicle is and what has happened, and will tell you straight. Longer delays are also sent out by group message.
The M11, the M25 and the A120 are the usual causes. If a route is going to be badly delayed we would rather tell you and the school than leave anybody guessing.
Questions parents ask
What happens if we move house mid year?
We cover a wide area, and where possible we would try to move you onto a nearer route.
Can my child travel on a different route for one day?
Tickets are route specific, so this would not normally be possible. For the odd occasion, please contact the office in advance and we will check whether there is a seat.
When should my child be at the stop, and what if they miss the bus?
Students should be at their stop five minutes before the timetabled time. Buses are not able to wait, because they have set times to keep at each stop.
Are your vehicles seat belted?
Yes. Our fleet is made up of coaches, and they are seat belted throughout.
Can I spread the payments?
Payments are flexible and we offer discounts depending on the option you choose. You can pay for the year in one go, or in termly or half termly instalments.
Who do I speak to if my child has a problem on the bus?
Your first point of contact is our ticketing team. We also have a close working relationship with the school, should anything involving behaviour need to be escalated.
How do I pay, and how do tickets work?
All payments are made by credit or debit card through a link we send out. Tickets are QR codes, emailed to parents and guardians before the service starts.
What if my child forgets their ticket or does not have a phone?
There is no limit to the number of copies of the QR code a student can have, as long as they only scan their own code once per journey. It can be opened from the online link, screenshotted, saved as a photo or printed. We recommend keeping a main copy and a backup, either printed or on a friend's phone. Scanning is a strict requirement, so that every student is registered on board and the driver has an accurate head count.
How would a late start or an early finish work?
These services are bespoke to their destination school, so we know in advance and tailor that day's timings to fit.
When should I sign up, and how often?
As soon as you know you want a seat. We open the following year's sign up early. A new sign up form is needed every year, and places are allocated first come, first served.
